Crafted in late 2023, this project involved creating a zine/booklet featuring essays by five local Brisbane writers reflecting on exhibitions at Metro Arts galleries in 2023. With a focus on typography and layout, the 50-page document balances bold titles, evocative imagery, and engaging text.

The design highlights typography, with a type-focused cover and bold headings. Each essay is distinguished by a distinct color palette, serving both as a marker of transition and as a reflection of the unique character of the corresponding exhibition.

While the design ethos is tied to a textual focus, there is a subtle nod to its artistic roots through the textured background and heading/images that bleed off the page.
